The Retreat at Buffalo Hill’s 10th Anniversary Celebration and Open House

The Retreat at Buffalo Hill’s 10th Anniversary Celebration and Open House event will be Tuesday March 29, 2022 from 4 pm to 6 pm. The event will commence with a short speech presented by President and CEO, Jason Cronk, followed by refreshments and tours of the therapy gym, pool, and occupational therapy suite. Immanuel Lutheran opened the state-of the-art center in March 2012 to provide outpatient and short-term rehabilitation in an aesthetically pleasing environment to promote healing and recovery. The design also answered a request from practitioners who had shared that their patients might benefit from a design that looked ‘less clinical’ and provided a specialized, short-stay setting, focused on gaining strength to return home after an illness, accident or surgery.  In 2013, the Retreat at Buffalo Hill rehabilitation center earned top honors in a national architectural and design competition sponsored by the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA).  The Retreat was recognized by ALFA as setting a new standard in the fast-changing world of rehabilitation.
